    1957 Chevy

so here is an example of the instructables website not really working. I just replied to this comment, and sent it, but i does not show up anywhere in the comments page!?!? Please send an email to which I can send the Zip file. I have to give up trying to send the Zip via the website.

first, yes i did upload the zip file and a bunch of photos of the parts I printed as test pieces to show you how to assemble them and a write up in the reply section. Second, and this is the big one, I have no idea where the file or the text in the reply went. The instructables website is so confusing that it took half a day of trying to get the instructables service to help and in the end I found what looked like a place to upload the zip file so I did. They ended up telling me to get an email from you to send the zip file to as they had no idea how this was supposed to work. At one point they told me to add "edit" to a url and that would let me do it, but it did not work. So I am at a loss as how to get the files to you. I would like you to have them as I worked all weekend...

I just found that there is an EDIT button that shows up in my list of entries. I uploaded the ZIP file and a bunch of photos, see if you can get to them. I certainly hope so.

I attempting to send the ZIP file through this reply. Apparently it can! That button should say "Add Files" not "Add Images", just saying!

I have sent the STL files in a ZIP format in two ways. One was in a reply to your last email, and also on a comments screen, but I suspect the file might not have been included as the button says "Add Images" and the ZIP file sure is not an image. The rear of the fins have an area where the bumper, specifically the upper loops, will slot into the fin panels. Have some sand paper handy to clean out the slots so the bumper slides in easily. Then a little glue, or Acetone if printed in ABS like I did, to hold it together. The side insert panels are separate so that the Fin panels can be painted first, like red, and the insert panels can be painted silver. Then glue the insert panels to the Fin panels. I printed the Fin Panels with support, but I think this is un-necessary. Kind o...

I printed the Fin Panels with support, but I think this is un-necessary. Kind of a pain to get the support off. The bumper has to have support and is printed with the bumper on its back, the fin panels are printed with the outside surface down. My printer tried to print support where the insert panels go and did so, but it is not removable. That is okay though as the support provides an outline to position the insert panel. See the attached photos. I first printed a small portion of the Fin Panel to see if the bumper would fit. It did. Then I printed a full Left side Fin Panel and a left insert panel to see how it looked. No painting or finish work was done, at least not yet. I think it will work. Let me know if you have questions.

I cannot make sense of your website. I cannot find a place where all of the conversation we have had shows up in one place. I also have no idea where to send the ZIP file I have. So I am going to try to send it from this page. I cannot send any images or photos as your website does not work at all for these files. I think you guys need to hire an IT guy to fix these problems. Where it says "is this uploader not working for you?" there seems to be no mechanism to upload anything from that screen. So there MIGHT be a ZIP file attached to this, assuming it will work.

Not sure if my replies are making to the right place, I replied via my iPad because the Website did not allow a reply on my Mac. Today it seems to be working and I do not see the reply I made via the iPad. I have revised the parts for the 1957 Chevy and I am currently printing them to make sure they will assemble correctly. Once I determine that they cam be assembled and make any tweaks I might need to do, I will send you the STL files. I need to know where to send them though. I doubt you want me to submit each part as an entry on the Bose Build page.

I tried to reply from my computer but the website was unresponsive, so I did replay via the email. The system did not like that. For some reason i am able to reply from iPad. I will work on the features you have asked for. When I have the files ready, where do I send them?

  • How To Burn a Bootloader to Clone Arduino Nano 3.0

The outcome of following you instructions was to not put the boot loader on my nano, and to turn my Uno into a brick. Not sure where to go from here. Now I have no Nano nor do I have use of the Uno. This occurred uploading the ISP to the Uno.
