Make a super cheap 3D printer using recycled parts
Cedar Strip Canoe
Finished it a while ago and never posted. However, I thought it was worth posting a shabbier one. No 3d printed parts (extruder assembly was purchased on amazon for 8 dollars), and the body was hand cut using a dremel (the only tool I had even remotely up to the task). This project really can be done with very few tools. You can print out couplings for a bigger printer, too. Though the instructable is a little sparse on details if you're new to 3d printers like I was, most of the necessary information is available on the reprap wiki.
