Everything was modeled in SolidWorks. As a mechanical engineering student, I have access to free student versions. I'm not sure if there is a universal file type that can cross-over between platforms, but if there is I would be more than happy to post the files in that format.
There are sometimes local shops that provide 3D printing services. Look around in your area.
That would work for a lighter material. The problem I ran into was the geometry of the mechanism caused the back of the arm to hit the lid at the back of the box close to the hinges. The serves did not have enough leverage/torque to open the lid. This forced me to add the third servo that opens and closes the lid.
