No-Weld Spark Plug Aeroplane
I'm definitely going to try a test piece soon on some 25mm PVC conduit. However, I want to stain it a lighter colour, ideally a stained oak.(It would fit with all the natural/stained oak inside/outside our house)
I've always wanted to make a set of these, but was always put off by the finished plastic look. Using zaphodd42's wood-look instructable, this is genius. Thank you, LoraH44 !
If you were going to paint it anyway, you could save money and use round PVC 20mm or 25mm Conduit instead, only using the copper if you wanted to retain the copper's colour. Another advantage is that it weighs much less than copper pipe, and so doesn't strain the light fitting you're hanging it from.
