Identify this item? Fred N FrancesM Item is brass with solid handle.  upper part is hollow with less than dime size holes on each side close to handle on hollow end.  has mark of N1 visible with another set of smaller numbers about 5 digits long that aren't legible.  total length is 11 1/2" long.  the barrel diameter is 3/4".

Have a 9in Craftsman band saw and purchased a 62in metal cutting blade (62in blade is too small? mridgley Have a Craftsman 9in Band Saw.  Needed a metal cutting blade.  Specs indicate a blade length of 62in.  Purchased one but it is too loose.  Checked all adjustable mechanics in saw - found none out of order...  measured band and it IS 62 inches..?
