Instructables: question - electronics - featured Mon, 18 Dec 2017 04:05:59 PST BLOX v1.01 Input problem with OpAmp-controlled ZVS Induction Heater DELETED_Electorials Hello, Idea: I'm trying to build a circuit which uses an OpAmp to drive 2 mosfets, which power the LC tank of an induction heater. The idea is to detect when the voltage over the LC tank crosses zero, and at that voltage I would make the 2 outputs of the OpAmp change states from fully on, to fully ...

Problems with logic(NAND) gates? Strontium I MADE a circuit that basically detects when an IR beam  is cut using a LM741 opamp .AS shown in the schematic i've connected the output of the opamp to the  two transistors (which is a nand gate) ,so when the beam is cut the output of the transistors should be high but instead the led at the collec...

How can I create an electromagnetic field strong enough to attract metallic objects of about 8-6inches from me? Emmanuel Caster Trying to see how I can upgrade my  magnetic glove by increasing the strength of the electromagnetic field around it presently I can attract objects just 2-3 inches and by calculation if I increase the voltage to 18v from 9v but it would result into I^2R loss besides if I can successfully increase t...

Can anyone help identify two components? Thoughtninja This board is from an old Barbie piano I'm fixing for my aunt. In order to further troubleshoot it I need to figure out what these are. They are indicated by the two arrows. Edit: Just wanted to add that I have attempted to google the codes on the two and it came up with nothing.

Amplifying load cell signal with AD623 problem! Chris414 Hello folk! I am having some trouble with this. I have set up the circuit. Thing is, when i put a 1K resistor between pins 1 and 8, i am supposed to get a gain of 100, instead i am getting a gain of 50. If i put 500ohm resistor, instead of getting a gain of 200, i am getting a gain of 100. What is g...

Does it matter how a coil is wound? Morgantao Hi everyone, Take a look at the illustration attached.  Is there any real difference in values between the four winding types? *** Assuming same core, same wire gauge and same number of windings on all 4 primaries, and all 4 secondaries *** A) Both primary and secondary are wound TOGETHER. B) prim...

Is It OK For Me To Use This Transformer?? jensenr30 I have a few questions about my transformer that I scavenged from an audio amplifier. I assume this transformer was used to drive big speakers. This bad-boy weighs in at eight pounds and is pictured below. The coil has a resistance of 2.2 Ohms. Is that normal? The Impedance of the transformer @ 60Hz...

Can someone tell me more about this transformer? Shagglepuff Recently, I got a large high voltage transformer. It used to be part of a photocopier, and lets out 1/4 sparks when you brush the primaries on a 9 volt battery. However, I don't really know how to build a driver for it. Can someone help me out? Here is what I know about it: It has 7 (8 if you count...

How do I know what size breaker to use for 12 volt 5 amp/hour SLA ? Noblenutria I found a 3 amp snap in circuit breaker.  It says 3A-32V.  Does that mean 3 amps up to 32 volts or 3 amps at only 32 volts? The guy I bought it from wasn't sure.  He believed the volts could be anywhere between 1 and 32  and would flip the breaker at 3 amps anywhere in that voltage range.  In other ...
