Wow. 100 instructables of knex guns. Maybe you could somehow make a minigun that when you pull the trigger it turns on a motor that spins the barrel.

You like that Mutant, don't you? I got to hold one once, and it seems like a pretty nice gun.

I love the mutant, AK Caliber on an AR-15 platform, long barrel with standard underbarrel and above barrel rails, open to lots of mods, just love it!

I think I need to try a bullpup and see how close I can come to a gun that I'm satisfied with.

Yeah, man, give it a shot. Obviously the biggest challenge with pullpups is you don't have much room for a pin while still getting good range. A slingshot would avoid this problem outright. A bolt action would help mitigate it by pushing the round further up so whatever little room you do have can be used fully. Or you could use a specially designed small firing pin, for example, a rail pin. Good luck with whatever you do.

Yeah. I might try using a mech along the lines of sidearm type pistols, where the pin presses the ammo (A blue rod perhaps?) against the trigger. Also I want to use a tan rod pin and load it down with bands. It will be one of the most inefficient setups, but I'll see how it goes. It will be mostly for looks and a change from the dry as dust simple pin guns I tend to post.

Just found something else you could try:

We've already seen the double barrel gimmick done in K'nex enough, but never as a replica. It'd be interesting to see you try to make a weapon with multiple magazines and chambers that still looks good.

I still vote for the Desert Tech MDR with modularity.

The Type 100 SMG would be appropriate for a 100th weapon, but it's a bit too simple for my liking. Though if you were to do an older gun, I'd say either do a Johnson LMG with a proper side loading magazine or a Johnson Rifle with a proper rotary magazine.

Alternatively, instead of making a replica, I'd love to see your take on a functional repeating shotgun, as I tell everyone.

This would be challenging, but I think you should try to build the Queenbreaker's bow from destiny.
