Valentines is coming up fast and the tootsie rolls don't taste as rich as RIESEN chocolates... I personally believe RIESEN chocolates are the worlds best chewy chocolates ever and was hoping someone could do a step by step on how to make them.

I have been trying to eliminate the heavily processed foods in my fridge, but one thing I keep buying is Hershey's chocolate syrup, full of high fructose corn syrup. I'm looking for an easy chocolate syrup I can mix up and store in the fridge for emergency chocolate milk consumption (i'm preggo, forgive the cravings)

I've been making chocolate lava cakes and they start to get boring after a while. I'm going to try to bake soft cookies now to see if I can find a cookie recipe with a soft cookie texture so does anybody know any things where instead of just pure chocolate I can make a cookie crusting for the chocolate lava cakes? Just a small amount to press against the sides and bottom. Usually serve it with vanilla ice-cream.

How does the recipe change if we use semi sweet milk chocolate hips or just milk chocolate chips?

I love their chocolate sauce yet I cannot find out what they use. Alot of copycat recipes say hersey's syrup but it does not taste like that to me.

Can you elaborate on the white chocolate ganache? Following your recipe, the 3 to 1 ratio becomes 18 ounces of dark chocolate and 6 ounces of heavy cream.Shouldn't it be a 1 to 3 ratio? Or should it be 18 ounces of white chocolate and 6 ounces of heavy cream?

I recently made cookies that featured white chocolate chips, and they turned out better than I thought they would! That led to me doing some looking online for white chocolate recipes. Using it to decorate has been done... what interesting recipes do YOU have in your culinary arsenal that use white chocolate? I am in the mood to try something new, and I have a bag of white chocolate chips that need using!

The rise and rise and eventual lawsuit over Scrabulous has shown that people love their Scrabble. Now you can even eat it with this decidedly unofficial Scrabble chocolate bar. They seem to be out of stock, but if they do come back, try and get them before Hasbro's lawyers do. link

Can anyone recommend a good chocolate cake recipe (not coco) which doesn't sink? I find mud cake recipes using coco powder bake up beautifully, but the taste of the coco lingers on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you all in advance.

Hi, I'm trying to recreate the girl scout cookie called "All Abouts" They were discontinued some time ago. I'm sure the cookie bit is a form of short bread but I'm not sure what kind of chocolate or fudge to use or even how to apply it on to the cookie like the image I attached. It doesn't need to be 0 trans fat like the image. Any help would be appreciated, thank you so much.

Hi All, My sister is making a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory project for school, and I want to make a real flowing chocolate river. I understand it would be very difficult to do this with real chocolate, so I was thinking I could use chocolate milk. Anyone have any idea on how I could do this? Maybe something with a little tank underneath and a water pump in it or something. The box we are creating this is is a plastic shoebox, but only half of it can be used for the river. Any help is appreciated! Adam

I make chocolate art pieces and I am looking for a way to mount one on a wall. I put a couple of the pieces in an art show into plexiglass frames but they had to sit tabletop. Maybe encased in resin, but I would need a cold resin so as not to melt the chocolate. Below is a photo of some of my chocolate art I would like to preserve/encase and mount on the wall but I really don't know how! This photo looks wall-mounted but again, it was shot tabletop.

I have just been inspired by the Peanut Butter Cup recipes, to make some for my family.. but I decided, that since some people have nut allergies, I would make some filled with Lemon Curd... a little odd, but it works... they are cooling at the moment.. but I had a sneaky taste of one! but I ran out of Lemon Curd (only had 3 teaspoons of it!) so I rumaged in the freezer, and found some frozen raspberries from last years harvest! basically I crushed 3 into each muffin paper, and covered in molten chocolate... I think these are even nicer... (instructable being written.. will have to photograph batch 2!!) Has anybody got any other interesting chocolate recipes?? I was thinking maybe some crackling sherbet to go on top.... Will (AKA IllegalFun)

Ok, I have tried and tried and I need some assistance from the Instructable community. My favorite brownies in the world are Ghirardelli's Triple Chocolate Brownie mix. It's a delicious chocolatey blend with 3 different chocolate chips inside (semisweet, milk and bittersweet/dark). The batch comes dry and you add 1/3 oil, 1/3 cup water (though I use coffee), and 1 egg for a 8x8 pan of brownies. My issue is I want to figure out how to make these from scratch. As much as I love them, I'm a scratch kind of girl and I just don't feel like I can call a recipe mine if I'm using a box mix. There's tons of brownie recipes online but none that seem similar. I figured out that the dry mix must obviously have their cocoa powder in it, but I can't find a recipe that has you add egg, oil and water to a dry mix. Many of the recipes I found have you melt one of the chocolates into your chocolate batter, rather than use cocoa powder, but I don't think Ghirardelli does that, unless I'm wrong. And if they did, how would it come as a dry mix? Others might have used powder but then they call for a lot of butter instead just a 1/3 cup of oil. Are there any brownie experts who can figure this one out for me?

Anyways I ran into one of my highschool friends on myspace. We dated once in college, we both went to two different schools, (6 years ago) and pretty much went our separate ways. Anyways i asked her out on a date to the movies on 13 FEB and she said sure. My question is I can get chocolate real cheep from work (at cost) should I give her a box of chocolate or will that be too romantic. Valentines day is on the 14th and I dont want to be too romantic, incase she turned into a psycho. What would be an appropriate gift (if any) to give someone that you havent seen in 6 years.?

Can you find a recipe that is similar to the "chocolate Stuff" on the menu at Barbara Jean's Restaurant in St. Simon Island, Georgia?
Hello I always wanted to learn this, thank you so much! :Di would like to make a chocolate Mini Cooper for my mother but I´m not sure how. I wanted to use diffrent kinds/colours of chocolate for the roof , tiers ect. but when I use a (2part) silikon mold I think it will breack before i can fill it up with the whole chocolate :/was thinking of making a vacuum forming machine out of a toaster to make a (transparent) mold like thishttp://deerbe.com/imgs/a/a/c/e/e/alte_schokoladenf...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTnz3fGfrL0but i think there are too many undercuts :/i hope you understand what i mean ^^´

Ok, I just made some hot chocolate, the usual 90 seconds in a microwave, narrow mug, powder and soy milk with a sprinkle of nutmeg..... drank it felt no different......but it appears that apparently it was too hot without me even realising it, and I should know because I drink hot chocolate with a spoon. My lips, roof of my mouth, gums and tounge are swelling sore and blistering. Great! Do you know what the best cure is? Whiskey, I'm sat in the living room drinking whiskey to cool the burns in my mouth, it doesnt hurt so much now but my god my lips are swelling like a mongoose fish. Who needs botocs? I have alot of food allergies too which doesn't help. Do any of you guys have food allergies and how do you cope with them, tips appreciated :)
