A Special Thanks To All Instructables Staff Members, Feature Team Members, Volunteers, AND Members! Answered

I wanted to give some positive feedback to everyone here at instructables because I feel they have earned it. When I first signed up I must admit that I was very frustrated because everything was new to me. I kind of felt alone in a vast world of the unknown. I felt bad at times to email staff members or volunteers because lets face it everyone is busy. Thanks for being patient with me.

In time I have learned a lot. I have seen some very positive changes in the value of the contest prizes and the quality of the winners entries as well as the instructables staff working hard on the issues here. I personally wish to thank you all for your hard work and say I have noticed it! I also wish to thank everyone who has corresponded with me and answered my questions because you have been so helpful. A special thanks of course to Eric, Scoochmaroo, and Instructables Robot.

A special thanks to Nizerbean because she has worked very hard helping me become better and better at editing my entries. I value all of her time and hard work and well, thank you! I know the amount of time it takes to email back and forth and tweak here and there. It takes time away from you doing your own thing but know that I appreciate all you have done!

All of you volunteers Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I hope you feel appreciated.

I also wish to thank the members because they too make up the instructable site. Thank you for awesome instructables that we can learn from, have fun making, and exchange creative ideas! You rock! A special thanks to wilgubeast, Chrysn, and Stumpchunkman.

If any members wish to join me in giving this team some positive feedback please tell these wonderful people you value them also.
How about an online Thank You Instructables party with cupcakes, pies, bbq, drinks, and diy patches!

Thanks for reading this.

Aww jeez. I hadn't seen this!

But really, thank you! You play a huge role in this community - always entering the weekly contests (and sometimes several times!), constantly cranking out well documented instructables, and commenting all over the place. I know you've probably made tons of people really happy with your positive comments. :)

Thanks for your kind words there jessy! I think your contributions are appreciated and enjoyed by many. I think we are in agreement this is a great place to spend time. Have a beautiful day!

YES ! You have one of the MOST appropriate monikers on this site, a bright beam of Sunshine for all. TY.

Blushing there Goodhart! Thanks for your kind words.

It was very nice of you to write this. It's important to acknowledge all those people that make this place great. That includes people like yourself who remember to thank everyone. So thank you sunshiine!!!

Thanks for your kind words there canucksgirl! I think we all love this place! Thanks for commenting!

I wanted to update my post by saying there are so many awesome replies that I can't just pick one to feature! I thank everyone that has posted! Have a splendorous day!

Instructables has brightened my world. To me it is a caring respectful creative international family, that I have been included in, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart

I am new and have really been more impressed with this site and the people that are on it. More so than any other website I have joined and then left because of not feeling comfortable enough to engage in. This one I will probably stay. You have all been very nice people, helpful and kind. Very interesting things to do and learn and fun contests that maybe one day I will get the hang of...lol. But thank you for making such a place where I actually feel OK to open my mouth and speak to other people (metaphorically), I am shy on the internet and get lost easily, but here you have made me feel very welcome and not feel like I have to fit into some pre-established group like most other places. I appreciate THAT so much you will never know. I am alone 24/7 and this has been so nice to come to and play and feel like I can say something and someone cares about it, for the first time, weird huh, to get so much from a website about making things...lol?
Bunches O Hugs,

Thank you Conny for telling the members here how you feel about this site. It is a very fun community. Have a very nice day! Huggs to you also!

You and I are often on the same wavelength, sunshiine.

Since finding this website (and becoming an active, participating member) I've found myself actually THINKING, laughing (and doing!) so much more... about everything EXCEPT mundane, petty, inconsequential matters.

The world is changed by concepts and ideas that have been nurtured with energy and put into action.

I especially love it that younger kids' are involved with instructables. The mentoring, guidance and encouragement offered (and accepted) here is nothing shy of "spectacular".

Instructables is, BY FAR, THE BEST hands/eyes/ears-on problem-solving, solution-gathering, helpful, informative and DIVERSE DIY website on the Net.

So, I'd like to join Sunshiine in thanking all of the Instructables Community; Members, Staff, Volunteers and Eric for creating the ultimate symbiotical Think Tank.

Let the good times roll!

Wow! You have such a way of putting how I feel in wonderful words! Thank you so much for letting the team and members know how much you appreciate this website. You rock!

lol... I was just reading your mind is all... or maybe you were reading mine!!! ;-)

Instructables somehow just seems to provoke this kind of response, and that's probably why I love it so much.  One thing I'd add, to anyone feeling like the first paragraph says, "I felt bad at times to email staff members or volunteers": don't!

People post on the site because they love sharing their ideas.  If you have a question about a specific Instructable, write a comment- I almost guarantee the writer will appreciate your curiosity and many will respond with some additional information that didn't make it into the original writeup.  PMs also work, but the benefit of asking questions in comments is that everyone else gets to hear the answer, and sometimes if the author doesn't know the answer, another reader will.  Questions about the site, what to post and how to write it up can be asked in the appropriate forum where someone will have constructive feedback for you.

If you have a sensible question, you've looked around and it hasn't been answered already, ask away!  The founding principle of this site is that knowledge and enthusiasm exist to be shared.

Thank you so much for sharing this information! You have made some very good points. Thanks again for sharing! Everyone has been such a great help for me. LOL you just might be the next one I PM. I will be taking your advise though. Have a super instructables day!

Thanks Kiteman! You have an awesomely incredible day! We appreciate you!

YES!!! I want to add my thanks to yours. On next July 6 is 5 years I am a member of Instructables. From day one I thought it would be a hit page, because it not only covers an important gap in the needs of people, but is very well thought out and taken. I welcome the positive response from staff to suggestions, the selfless assistance they provide, even patience with us who have language difficulties or other. This is a good opportunity also to apologize for some changes of opinion due to my misunderstanding of the role of Instructables.

I also thank other members (do not name to avoid forget some ones) who have helped me with their comments, with my poor English, and even patches that will rise me to a mood.

Thank you so much for commenting! I hope more people will comment. I know that instructables has more improving to do but hey, they must be doing something right to have become the best diy on the web right? I encourage others to leave a positive comment. If nothing else make a we love instructables patch or something and post it!

I almost forgot! I love the new Tshirts! Thanks for the purple! Maybe changing the colors a little more often. I know that the guys need colors they can wear also. Maybe a his and hers! Long sleeve would be totally awesome for winter. In the warmer climates like mine, people wear long sleeve shirts in stead of coats. Good advertising all year round for instructables! Just a thought. I do wear them by the way! I love the robot! I only wear the grey at home though. But I do wear the purple: proudly everywhere!
