An operating system on an MP4? Answered

Hiya! I'm Michael and I always have crazy ideas. This time I want to enter inside a MP4 player memory and modify it's boring menu into a cool thing where you have a white background and you have a cursor that you can move with arrows. Is that possible to edit its memory that way?

Hello all! I have already figured it out myself. I have found out that you can buy a "sansa fuze" MP3 player and install "rockbox" on it. Rockbox in an operating system that will add you tons of new cool junk such as playing Gamboy/Gameboy Color games on your MP3!

Rockbox website : http://www.rockbox.org/

A video on installing it on a sansa fuze : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MYpPLZ0c1Q

ATTENTION! IT WILL NOT WORK IF YOU HAVE A V2 OPERATING SYSTEM ON YOU FUZE!

Turn on your Fuze
• Select Settings from the main menu
• Select System Settings
• Select Info
• Verify the Version #

Revision 1 = 1.XX.XX (example: 1.02.26)
Revision 2 = 2.XX.XX (example: 2.02.26)

What mp4 player? There are LOADS of guides online for loading linux onto an ipod, as well as other mp3/4 players.
