New World Symphony in places. (I didn't much like it, not my flavour) - your return-favour is Sabbath Bloody Sabbath L

This piece, entitled The Lion's Roar, is from the albumn by Trans Siberian Orchestra: "Night Castle".
The picture is a joke of sorts I suppose. L
Wait, the picture I posted or the one on the video? Yeah, the one on the video I suppose is some form of joke *shrug*
You didn't get any Dvorak in there then?(the advert is running at a faster tempo) L
I was just wondering if anyone recognized where TSO had gotten the music that they re-arranged. Cdad found it for me :-) I just happened to be listening to my new Night Castle cd and was curiuos....
It was just what I was inspired to post as a picture, actually. I am not sure why...
There is a search box... ;-)Parts of the song "The Lion's Roar" are taken from the song "Temptation Revelation" off of the Gutter Ballet album. Parts are also from the traditional Irish song "The Minstrel Boy"
Ok, sorry I missed that resource. None of those sound "familial" as far as title's go however.....must be my overactive imagination playing tricks on me again I suppose.
It sounds like the passing of a military soldier bugle goodby.I used to be in military school and hear practice.
Thank you. I am good at recognizing tunes, but TITLES I have difficulties with :-)
Tis ok, I sm Scorpio /:-P
Bits and pieces seem oddly familiar, but nothing I can put my finger on. One of the twinkids said one bit reminded her of a scene in Rocky Horror, but it didn't to me.
I am still trying to place where I might have heard it....
I surrender, don't know. For me, the best of this group is Wizards in winter. And this video (there are several) using that music is awesome.
Because I listen mostly to classical works, I was hoping that it's familiarity would spark someone to remember where I might have heard this piece before. As for TSO: I LOVE their Beethoven's Last Night cd. . .
Theme to Open All Hours?
This piece, entitled The Lion's Roar, is from the albumn by Trans Siberian Orchestra: Night Castle. I guess I should have been more specific: it sounds "familiar to me (and since I listen to a lot of classical music, that would be were I would most likely recognize if from): still I can't place it.
it is the Lions Roar
Yes, it says that right on the link :-) I just wondered if anyone found it sounding like a classical or classical-like work.
I asked the other twinkid and she was ohh, where do I know that from, but she couldn't put her finger on it either.
