Are family members supposed to vote on contest entries?

I'm wondering who is allowed to vote on contest entries.

Merely my humble viewpoint:

If any of my family members had Instructables accounts, and I had an entry in a contest,* and they didn't vote for it -
...they would have a lot of " 'splainin' " to do.

(*Unless they had an entry in the contest themselves.)

Everyone can vote. Thats what everyone does... ...whoever gets more friends and family to vote, they win...

Sure. I'm sure Michelle Obama voted for her husband, so surely it must be OK here, too!

It's a democracy, sort of... Each member gets one vote.  If each of your family have separate accounts, they each get one vote.

.  In Hippyese that's: "We're all family, man. Everybody gets a vote! Dig?"

Thanks, I shall have to investigate, (but I used a lower-case g)

It always gets me at least one vote.

Sometimes two, if Roger-X ever remembers to log on.
