Are there any ways to hack the Bluetooth communication between an app and a device? Answered

Hi guys,

I have bought a robot-toy which is under control by an android app. The commands are sending Bluetooth one-by-one. The app is quite boring, and I thought, are there any ways to hack the Bluetooth communication between the robot and the app?
