BOOM!! Answered

I made this just yesterday because I could not find any tuorial that tells you how to make a decent explosion. So after a little experimenting, I got this. Would anyone like to see an instructable for this in GIMP and Photoshop? I updated the picture from one that did not have a backround to this

xD your imagination should make up for any realism lacking

It looks realistic when the picture is small, but when you take a closer look at it, hmm...

I was kind of talking about a "nuclear" effect, or something similer like mine.

There are many tutuorials if you just search "explosion effect photoshop" http://www.thedesignworld.com/photoshop-tutorials/filter-effects/realistic-explosion/ is one of them.

There seem to be no instructables on this so you should put one up. You might want to do some research on how a fireball is created to make your explosion look more realistic. Good luck.
