Bearing/fulcrum for a pendulum Answered

I want to swing a locket on a chain like a pendulum and I want to minmise the friction experienced where the chain attaches to the supporting post. What sort of bearing or similar device should I use for this? Ideally it should be available in a bronze/dirty brass colour but I guess I can deal with it if it isn't.

I don't know your skillset but:
If you have a steel axle then you can simply use a brass bearing that is machined to match the axle.
Good for really hard work and much simpler than a bearing - a lot of old machining tools use these types of "bearings".
But IMHO a simply shackle will do the trick just fine unless you need much more rotation.
