Better Graphics?
Ok, is the ATI Radeon 9000 Diablotek graphics card better than the Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset Family onboard graphics? Specs:
Pentium 4
2.5 GB DDR2 Ram
Asus P5KPL-AM EPU Motherboard
80 GB Seagate Baracuda HDD
YEAH!
Did you ever get the Radeon to work?
They're both fairly cheap, you'd want to benchmark 'em to decide on your machine.

A lot of games have an option to display the frame-rate (FPS). If you turn that on and play, you'll have a measure of relative performance.Otherwise there are things like:

I did with my new mobo. I tried gta san andreas, and it sucked. Everything else was good though.

If you are planning on doing any gaming go with nether. I would recommend a video card with a minimum of 250mb of graphics memory. To answer the question the ATI Radeon 9000 is better.

It is better, but not for gaming?

Correct, just don't buy it if you plan on playing any of the newer games. It should be fine for just about anything other than gaming though.

Neither one will be particularly great (I had a Mobility Radeon 9000 in a laptop built in 2003). If you're looking at spending anything at all, I'd take a look in the Tom's Hardware graphics card guide. 50 USD will get you a much better card than the 9000.
