You lost me at Bridge Rectifier! What does that mean?
It is a special arrangement of 4 diodes that turns an AC (alternating current) into DC (direct current). As the AC signal passes through the diodes, the diodes route the alternating positive and negative voltage from the inductor in such a way that it comes out of the bridge rectifier as a steady positive DC signal.Since our motor has two coils, to take full advantage of it's energy producing potential, we use two bridge rectifiers. Each one is converting AC into DC, and then the DC signals from each rectifier are wired together.
