Broken Power Inverter Answered

I have a sima 140 Watt power inverter, and it doesn't work anymore! I don't know why... I don't have much experience with inverters. Can someone help?

If the battery voltage is LOW... then the inverter will not kick on. If you overload the inverter with too much stuff ... it might burn out. If the terminals connecting the unit to the power source have corroded connections it will not work. Dont overlook the negative ground connection for looseness or corrosion. Fuses sometimes LOOK ok ... but test bad with a meter. Always test fuses with a METER, not your eyeball.

You are right, the fuse looked okay, but I checked it with a meter and it didn't work. Thanks!

Are sure that it is being supplied with power, ya know, plugged in?

Have you checked the fuse?
The document below leads me to believe it has one.

I checked the fuse and that seems to be the problem. Thanks!
