Can my computer run Cod4 and other popular games with Maxed Out Settings? Answered

Computer specs:
Video card: XFX ATI Radeon 5850
Processor: AMD Phenom II x 4 925 processor. ~2.8 Ghz. (Can be overclocked. same with videocard.)
Memory: 8190MB  RAM
Motherboard: Unknown, but I bought my computer as a gaming PC not to long ago and updated the videocard. Everything else should be able to run fairly well.

Please answer and thank you.

It should run the games when not overclocking. It may run the games when overclocking. Operating outside the design space of a circuit is always an At Your Own Risk process; if it doesn't work, your only recourse is to switch it back to normal speed and hope it didn't damage any data you can't replace. But this is sample-by-sample variation, and there really isn't a good way to predict how far any given machine can be pushed beyond its rated specs except to try it.

Why are you asking the internet when you could just try it and find out?
It may shut-down on you (that's a "no") but the system shouldn't break.

You might as well buy a game and test it out; it probably should, since your computer is for gaming...
