Can you plug a tiny terror head into any amp cabinet? Answered

I have a tiny terror orange amp but do not have the orange cabinet...  I do not want to buy the orange cab as it is too expensive.  Can I build one?  What can I use for it?  Any advice?

I have a nice instructable for a cab, if you want... It's ported, and sounds really big!

I will also make a Mesa Boogie Rectifier 2x12 clone instructable this summer, if you can hold out....

did you end up making those mesa plans??

Thank you I am building your amp cabinet.  What is the speaker?  I am using a 8 ohms and 16 ohms then I will have a swicth that will determine to use the 8 ohms speaker and the 16 ohms.  Would this work?

The one that I have up now, You only get an 8 or 16 ohm speaker, and stick to it... It takes an EV EVM12L or an Eminence Delta Pro-12a

The one I hope to get moving early this summer, yes!
I plan to use two Celestion V30's, but any 12 inch speakers should work. To have a switchable cab, you need to buy 8 ohm speakers, and a 5 amp DPDT switch. You can ONLY! switch between 4 and 16 ohms. So it can hook up to the 16 ohm output of your tiny terror. Switching to 8 ohms is not possible.... I dont think, unless you have a piezo, or something, but I cant be sure...

If you want plans for a 4x12 Marshall 1960a cabinet, which I believe Orange based their cab off of, here are plans I saved before they were erased for being too good.... I won't be making this one any time soon.

You can use any speaker cabinet you choose, even if you build it yourself as long as it is either 8 ohms or 16 ohms.

You may plug in one 8 ohm speaker or one 16 ohm cabinet at a time.

Google "tiny terror manual" if you don't have one.  This is all detailed in the manual.

Looks like a nice amp.

Thanks.  I going to build a cabinet with a swicth from the 8ohms speaker and the 16ohms skeaker.

Thanks for the idea of the manuel...
