Coffee substitutes Answered
I wonder if anyone, with experience, can make Instructables explaining how to make coffee substitutes. I understand that coffee substitutes have been made from different sources: chicory, dandelion roots, coffeeweeds, garbanzo beans and, grains. Cassia occidentalis is known as Coffeeweed in some parts of the United States and as Hedionda in Puerto Rico. The Cassia occidentalis and Sennaoccidentalis produce a very aromatic brew. It was used once during a coffee shortage.
