Crossbow V5 "Reaper" Answered

Picture of

This is the Reaper...it may not have great look, but it sure is effective.
This one uses 4 strings of rubberbands and has a really sturdy trigger which also may be a new design.

Sorry for the bad pictures...all i had at the moment to make a picture was an ps2 Eyetoy.

It is finished!

That thing is insane! As soon as I take my gattling cannon apart I'm doing this, with hopefully a really long barrel to make it stronger.

gatling guns might be cool, but it has a massive reloading time and is fired in like 1.5second?

i hate actually pasted ALL the pieces together( i bought me a knex tub full of pieces so no lack xd) and i added another 12ruberbands(strings) that's 20strings!!!
it does not break and the arrows need superglue real bad. when i fire it, its almost impossible to follow with ur eye and after 300feet, the arrows still smash apart in small pieces:o i once more thank you for this massive beast, i think i'm gonna shoot sum birds with this

no offence, but it looks kind of small compared to your other guns/crossbows/bow/etc, unless its just my eyes and the angle its at,

or...I'm just a complete and total noob =3

I hope its scary in a good way...btw i modded the trigger to hold 2 arrows at the same time, which can fired individually, if firing without trigger you can fire 4 arrows in a row... :D

Yay! I just finished taking these huge resolution pictures (good camera) some are a bit blurry because of movement, but when they finish uploading (takes ages...sending ~150 MB :/ ), I'll jump on making instructions :D

My crossbow fires currently: A: 1 super powerful arrow(goes 55-65 sheets of paper) using all 4 rubberband strings and 1 trigger B: 1 even more powerful arrow (fires more then 200 feet, goes 60-75 sheets if paper plus plastic cover) using 4 rubberband strings and no trigger C:2 powerful arrows(powerful enough to pierce through cardboard) using two individual triggers D: 4 moderately powerful arrows(holes in cardboard) which can be fired in a stream, using one rubberband string each, no trigger Having all these nice features have one disadvantage...it is very slow to reload C and D I really want to make this an Instructable, but I need something better then this damned Eyetoy :o However, this Friday i can get a decent camera for taking pictures.. I also tried to film it with the Eyetoy, but the file ended up being 800MB> :/ Three new pictures(Still the Eyetoy -.-):

OMG..i replaced the red connector on the arrow with a white one and put a sharpened white rod on it...it went through a 50 page workbook.... :D And it left holes in a 1.5 cm thick wood IKEA bed...lol...THIS is with trigger....without trigger it is way stronger O.o'
