Donkey Kong Quilt Will Keep You Warm on those Long, Lonely Nights Answered

Picture of

Scope this cool quilt from Etsy maker CarolinaPatchworks.

If you've got the $450 to shell out for this bad boy, you're probably still living in your parent's basement and could use something to keep you warm while you reminisce about saving the princess from the angry monkey 20 years ago on your Nintendo, probably in that same basement.

Let's be honest, if you love 80s pop culture and clever, crafty re-creations of your childhood memories ( and obviously I DO ), it doesn't get any better than this.

Or does it?

Can it beat 5volt's Art Toast?
Or spacegirl94's own Mario Quilt?

Wow, I love this, I love all retro stuff, and all the things that are related to computers and games in the 70s 80s and early 90s. As you can see my name is commodore! :P I only played this game on PC, a re-make of it, but it kept its original concept... Its not that easy as it looks, that's all I'll say! :) Thanks for this article Scoochmaroo! :D

I just love most things retro, like this stuff, but I like to remind us all of the bad stufflike IBM x86 clones, MS DOS, windows 1, windows 2.1, windows 3, windows 3.11 for workgroups and so on. :)
