FIFA Day 3 Group C results Answered

More amazing games in day 3. Here are the results.

Game 1
England 1- USA 1
Gerrard      Dempsey
4th minute  40th minute

Game 2
Algeria 0- Slovenia 1
               Koren
              79th minute

Personal thoughts on Game 1:
The classic English showdown as like to call it. The amazing game between the two english countries.England kicked of and scored an amazing goal in the 4th minute. The earliest goal in South Africa so far. USA countered in the 40th minute with a their own goal. The English goalkeeper, Robert Green had the ball slip out of his hands and into the goal. There weren't any other goals in the second half. Personally, I think the two teams will get into the finals and may advance to the quarter finals before facing the Soccer stars.

Personal thoughts on Game 2:
The first half of the game went pretty slow. In the second half things started to warm up with some great shots. Algeria played pretty well although Slovenia had a great possesion of the ball. Algeria had a tough time taking the ball of Slovenia but when they did have it in their possesion they made some great shots. Slovenia eventually scored a goal in 79th minute. Another goal that slipped out of the hands of the goalkeeper and into the goal. Slovenia could have tied but they made mistakes which caused them the game. Slovenia has a higher chance of getting into the finals with tose precious three points. Good luck to both teams in their following games.

The English goalkeeper, Robert Green had the ball slip out of his hands and into the goal.

It is a shameful family secret that my cousin's daughter used to date Green, early in his professional career.

Are you saying you are english? I thought all the admins lived in the same city or something. Good luck against Algeria! Dating with the goalkeepers :-P Thanks for commenting Kiteman.

Once I'd got my £1 pint England scored, then I went outside and continued being sociable with people.
I'm not too interested in watching, but I'll keep track of what happens.
