Good CAD tool for strip board layout running under Linux? Answered

I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 on an AMD 64 PC. I am looking for a layout tool to help build circuits on strip board. I have tried Windows apps under Wine but this is not very reliable.

I'm not sure if it's good for stripboard layout, but I know Eagle CAD runs on Linux. For stripboard or breadboard, I usually draw up the schematic and do the layouts by hand or ad hoc as I'm building it. It's generally not difficult to do.

Already using Eagle CAD. Not having a lot of success emulating strip board. Thanks for the reply.

That sounds like a good idea for a piece of hobbyists software - I am not a SW engineer myself (HW only with a little C and asm!) but it sounds like something which could sell for a token amount ~£10 or so.
If you find something please post a link, stripboard is a necessary evil (sometimes) and anything to take the pain away is a good thing!!

StripCAD says it's been tested with Wine.
