The problem you're having is with the guide when you bring the connector forwards it causes the pin to tilt, and then it gets caught on something on the barrel causing the pin to get stuck.

Ok thanks, I was thinking something more like it is just causing a lot of friction because it slows down then stops, and I can still push it back but I guess the only solution is to leave the guide back.

or maybe improve your band placement. It should be straight and parallel with the pin, not at an angle to it.

Better, you can use as many bands as you want without the pin breaking, know how a NAR works ?

I know how a NAR works. I'm just asking the range.

I know, were you in that conversation a few days ago? I'm actually just doing an oodammo mag now.

That can't be called a turreted NAR, as the original concept of the NAR isn't present in this gun.

Yes, it uses a block that the ram hits, and it hits the bullet. The back of the ram never touches anything.

Well I don't see how it can work with the turret you have. The bit in the front doesn't look like it's even there.

The orange con sticking out is part of a pivot that the ram hits,

One question, if this a NAR, how do you get the rod sticking out the back off the turret where the bullet is loaded to push back the piece that the ram hits?

It uses an elastic, see that orange con sticking out on top? I just didnt have it in this pic, it's an old one.

I don't get it. wouldnt the turret break if you add too many rubber bands.

The ram hits another piece which hits the turret. That piece stops the back of the ram from touching anything, so it will never break, allowing you to use as many band as you could want.

Ok, i thought that the actual turret was the piece that blocked the ram. can you put up a pic of the part where the ammo is hit?

Select as Best AnswerUndo Best Answer

MotaBoi (author)rofl4952010-07-11

lol And no, sorry. I've already modded it to use strictly oodammo instead of a turret, and that part is changed now.

Isn't the power lost as it has to go through another piece of knex before it hits the ammo? And there was already a turreted NAR

Select as Best AnswerUndo Best Answer

user
MotaBoi (author)TwistedParadox2010-07-11

Yes, a little bit and that other nar had a nar barrel on each turret round, so it could only hold 4. This uses a true turret

sprout_less (author)MotaBoi2010-07-11

The one baken used wasnt a true nar because it didnt prevent that back of the ram from touching.
