Gun in Making: Anti-Tank Rifle Mk. 2 Answered

I am posting pics of a gun I am currently making. It will be a very long gun, probably 4' 8", but I ran out of pieces, so I will not know for a few weeks. The reason I am calling it "Anti-Tank" is because it is the ONLY knex rifle I know of that can fire the 7 1/2" grey/black rods, and it is the "Mk. 2" because the first version did not work. This rifle was inspired by the anti-tank rifle from Battlefield 2142. Enjoy. If this turns out, I should have an instructable up in a month or so. Pic 1: The gun so far. Pic 2: The gun so far from the back. 6/6 UPDATE:I have designed the trigger system today. It will not be a block trigger, but a sear system, which means that it now has a true trigger. I have also added a pic of the internals, as danny suggested.

the name under it is "you" not "Mykhailo" and you only posted one comment a few year ago...

The name is 'You', thank you very much. And it was still made by me. This site doesn't change the names on annotations when the annotator changes his/her name after having made the annotation.

ya, except those things are HUGE! I saw one at a gunshow recently, and it was 6ft or something, and it shot 20mm rounds.

Why the long barrel? I know it looks cool... but does it actually help?

on a real gun the long barrel makes it more acuate but on a knex gun it makes it lose range.

I've just realized that I've been lookin' at this for a few days, but I haven't replied! Looks sweet, but wouldnt it be a bit hard to load the mag? You know, if the side is covering it up and stuff like that.

ya, it had some flaws, like 1/2 ft ranges and jams, so I scrapped it and I am working on a different gun with a removeable bottom-loading mag that uses a new type of mag and mag catch.

I dont know what you mean by an ovwersized Ipod killer gun, but my magazine is bottom loading and it fires grey rods instead of yellow rods, and my gun will have a diffferent fireing system.
