Help Getting Started With Arduino Answered
I just reformatted my computer recently, and when I reinstalled the Arduino programming software and FTDI drivers, it, simply put, doesn't work. Everything installed okay, and my computer recognizes my Arduino (its an Arduino Decemelia with an ATMEGA168, and I set the software to this under the tools/board menu), but when I try to upload a program, it says the following:
avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_disable(): protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x51
I know that this board has a bootloader because the pin 13 LED flashes when I turn it on, or when I press the reset button.
I also know that this board does, in fact, work, because it worked before I reformatted my computer. I did, however, have earlier versions of the drivers and programming software installed.
Please help me, thank you
