High Quality Print Making Answered

Do any of you know how to make high quality prints of a piece of art? The only thing I can think of is using a scanner, but that's not really the same thing. Or should I just go to the professionals, which will get expensive.

Is the art in digital form, or are you talking about a painting on a canvas? I'd scan the canvas and then get a print from Wal-Mart or Sams.

Yea, it's canvas. What about a large canvas, too big for a scanner (at least the one I have)?

I'd probably go to Kinko's - they're about the only ones that would have a large scanner (that I know of).

Don't let the Kinkoids handle your painting if it has any value though... Alternatively, any decent photography studio should be able to take a high-res digital photograph of the canvas. Some of them may also be able to print it back out onto a textured canvas-like surface, but that'll get more pricy...

Scan it in segments and then reattach it with photo editing software
