How I can drive flash rainbow leds? Answered

Hello every one,I'm new here and I just don't know where to start .I order some rainbow leds with 2 pins ,so yes they have own cycle .My question is there way to drive them by building or writing my own code like rgb leds?Thanks everyone and peace :)

Oo that's bad news for me :( I thought I'll got access by using arduino and programming like I want but...Thank you all, so now If someone give me idea what to do with all those 200 leds is will be great

1. Make mood lights and sell them for more then the LEDS cost

You cannot change the cycle - the integrated circuit in the led is fixed.

No I thing you haven't understand what I try to say.I know how to operate with them,but the problem is they have own cycle and I don't want that cycle I want my own.Like writing a code.

No you can't do that the programme is embedded in the IC in the LED and there is no access to it.

If you want to make your own rainbow LED then your going to have to use a microcontroller. PIC

pretty much any voltage between 3 and 12 volts (see their data sheet) will work the negative connection goes to the short lead (flat on the led body
