How can I add a letter into the stamp? Answered

Picture of

I have tried using "text" to add it to the center of the stamp, but this doesn't work when trying to Chamfer or Fillet the edges. Also, Note when trying to use Fillet on the outside body of the Stamp, it will not let me select the line. I also noticed the Fillet box does not pop-up on the right side of the screen. I thought this was something I didn't do correctly, but after reviewing video/screenshots/text. I believe I did everything you mentioned.

Filleting only works if the geometry is possible, if you get my meaning. If you've extruded the letter E, for example, and the depth is 1mm while the width of the lines on the E are .5mm, then you try to chamfer by a distance of 1mm, it won't work because that would effectively make the lines of the E disappear. Almost every time you get an error with the chamfer it's because the resulting geometry would be impossible.

If you're not seeing the fillet or chamfer dialog box come up when you select the tool, it's probably because it's minimized to the side. If that's the case, just click the double arrow on the "chamfer" or "fillet" panel and it should expand.

If you can't select a line in the fillet tool, it could be that the line would result in impossible geometry or that you've turned off Sketch Curves under Select > Selection Filter.

Hope this helps-
