How can I get tin metal, or some other metal resistive to oxidation, to fall out of a ionic salt in solution? Answered

Is there a simple chemical reaction that leads to a pure metal precipitate?

Which metal is it, what salt solution? There are, but if you're after something specific, we'd need to know what you've got. L

Any metal.  I want to make a piece of paper with an impregnated ionic salt, such that when you apply some solution to it, some non-oxidized metal falls out of the salt or solution, leaving conductive traces.
