How can I record my TV in good quality? Answered

I want to record my nfs mw game, but I have the ps2 version. Using my video camera would make the picture suck. How can I get a good quality video? thx!

Well, if you have a DVR of some sort, you can run the outputs of your PS2 through it and record your game as you would a TV show, however there would probably be a second or so of delay if the DRV can pause live TV, but you might be able to disable that. Another option is to get a TV tuner like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815276002, and record the video via your computer. That TV tuner above is fairly cheap though, so you might want to invest in a more expensive one, Hauppauge makes good TV Tuners. There might be some more options if you have a DVD Recorder or if you're willing to use a VCR as well.

Do you have any video inputs on your PC? If you do you can probably use Windows Moviemaker or equivalent. L

This is $100, but, you can record anything, t.v., movie, and video games. I think it is a product worth looking into.
