How do I build a Baghdad Battery? Answered

Baghdad's Battery is a controversial source of light that some say provided lighting in tombs, pyramids, etc. for the drawings, hieroglyphics, etc. that otherwise would not have light because of the low oxygen level in those areas.

It's not all that controversial.

It is either a very poorly performing and primitive battery that would have been used for plating or "magic shows" or it wasn't.

The only controversy is the psychos who battle on boths sides of the question of whether it was or wasn't.

Also, the Baghdad battery is not a light source. It may have been a source of electrical current, but anyone who tells you that it was used as a light source is either having you on, or rock-stupid.
