How do I clamp to the bottom of a chair leg? Answered

I need to glue felt pads to the bottom of some dining room chairs. The self adhering pads don't stay in place as the floor is slightly textured and causes the pads to shift when the chair is moved. I bought some Gorilla Glue that recommends clamping during the setting. If I had long clamps I might be able to clamp end to end on the front legs but with the back there is no surface that is parallel and accessible with the foot of the chair.

Forget the clamps. Why not glue the pads to the bottom of the feet, then flip the chair upright and stack weight on the seat to add pressure to all four feet at once.
