How do I make a wireless on/off switch? Answered

Hello guys I'm a beginner so go easy with me :D

I want to make a simple wireless on/off switch. I press button A, the power is off. I press B, the power is on.
I don't care what method as long as it is NOT line of sight.

Please direct me to a website with a simple circuit of the likes of that.

Thanks,

Probably the easiest way to start is to hack a wireless doorbell kit. The ringer or bell output is hooked up to a relay to isolate and control the circuit you want on/off. Search on "make wireless on off switches" Good luck.

Would a remote control car have the same effect?

Thanks,

Try this remote control and replace one or more output LEDs with a standard 6pin opto-triac isolator as shown.
