How do you remove a stuck cd from an automobile cd player? Answered

I placed a cd disc in the cd player in my 2004 Chevy Silverado, and when I pushed the eject button, I only received a clicking noise and a check cd message. I have not been able to retrieve the cd. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not at this time. The player is a combination radio/cd built into the dash.

is the cd player in the car or out? If there is power to the cd player there is usually a little hole that you can poke a bent paper clip into.

The cd player is in the car. I can not locate a hole. The cd player is a combination cd/radio.
