Thanks for your reply, not keen on using acid, as my son is involved. We got the paint that protects the mirror finish off by scraping, but it doesn't work on mirror finish. Heard from a friend to try very fine wet/dry sandpaper! Haven't tried this yet.
You can try an alkali too - try a concentrated solution of washing soda too. Wear rubber gloves.Steve
Do you know if the acid will remove the paint that protects the mirror finish too, or would it require scraping?
