How does one figure out their Estimated Time of Arrival if they know their rate of speed and distance? Answered

When traveling by Automobile, if you know the distance between two points, and your speed, how do you figure out your Estimated Time of Arrival?

Algebra. Kiteman has already given you the formula, but you could figure it out for yourself. Speed has units of "distance/time", distance has units of "distance." How would you multiply or divide those to get an answer with units of "time"?

Speed = distance / time.

E.g. 500 miles, 60mph, time now 07:35
500/60 = 8.33 hours = 8h20m
