How much power can this ferrite core take? Answered

I have a ferrite transformer core and I was wondering how much power it could take? 

And at what frequency would you recommend I drive it?

I am planning this for a HF battery powered inverter I'm planning 24-36V input,  200-400V output.

Depends on the material, but look up the core in standard catalogues for some ideas.

Depends on the material to some extent, and the saturation flux density etc. Where did it come from ?

The core was off the internet I am assuming with no specific purpose other than a HF transformer.

Reckon on ultrasonic, but not much, try <30Khz

Hard to wind. Twice plus as hard as a toroid.

IF its solid - it might be E-I type.
