How should I tell him I'm crazy for him!?! Answered

So I've known this guy for like a year. One night this spring we started talking and we had a really good connection. Since then we've been texting each other and we've been pretty good friends. Then one day my best friend's brother's friend found this note i wrote a while back and it said that i really liked him and all of this and that. After that he hung around a lot more. We used to go to school together but never talked and he graduated a few years back. I like him a lot and pretty much have felt that way since... like last fall (even though i used to like him in school too- we kinda lost touch)

We only see each other on the weekends because he's got a job a few hours away and I have school, sometimes I don't even see him at all. But Every time we see each other we always catch up and laugh and have a pretty good time together- like really good friends
(I try to talk to him but i get nervous and don't know what to do so I can tell he has a hard time finding things to talk about with me in person, that's why I never call him.)
---what i mean is I'm pretty shy...

Last weekend he came over and we laughed and had a really really good time to make a long story short. I always end up telling myself that we're just friends, and I'm pretty sure that he's doing the same thing. (My best friend tells me that it's obvious that we both like each other) A few months back I suggested that we should hang out some time - just us, and he agreed... we just never really got around to it or made any plans...

anyway, lately I've been thinking and i think that I want to just flat out tell him how I feel this weekend but I'm not very optimistic and definately not quite sure how to do it, and I don't want to ruin a good thing.

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heyzues Christos. People are being way too gentle here.

Here's what you do. The next time you're in a semi private situation, grab him by the collar and kiss him.

If you did that to me, I'd be convinced.

You should talk to him after its been only the two of you hanging out for a while. Don't wait too long or else you'll lose your nerve!

A good thing to do might be to watch a movie or TV show-- something you both might enjoy, and decide beforehand that you'll talk to him afterwards. I proposed to my wife this way! Be confident, but not overly so. He probably likes the fact that you're shy!

In this hypothetical, I'm going to call your friend Obadiah.

"Obi, I've got something that's been weighing heavily on my heart for a while now, and to not tell you would be to deny you knowing me for who I really am. For _______ months, I've really liked you and I've felt a chemistry that I can't really stop thinking about. For the sake of honesty, are you feeling the same things I am?"

Don't hesitate. You can do this. Right before you open your mouth you're going to feel like your tongue and vocal cords are fighting against you. Gumption is the cure for this. Just go at it. Once you pick your time to talk about it, don't hesitate, because the longer you wait, the less likely you are to have this important conversation.

Most importantly, be yourself. Don't be afraid to tell him the metadata on how you're feeling.

e.g: (you start talking to him)
You: Obi, I've got something that's been weighing pretty heavily on my heart recently....
Obi: Oh really?....What's up?

At this point, the butterflies in your stomach are probably going to turn into a cannonball. It's okay to tell him just that. He needs to know, because this is something that both of you are going through together. He needs to know how you are experiencing it.

Just be honest and tell him what's on your heart. If you try to read a script that someone else has written, it might not be true to you and you won't have the confidence to go through with it. You have to be true to you and Obadiah.

You can do it!

Let us know how it goes!

On the phone or through email tell him you have something you'd like to talk about the next time you get together. Make sure to follow through. That's all that can really be said, you have to tell him how you feel.
