How long is a piece of string?

There are many different dimensions for Japanese blades, there are no set rules.

My suggestion is find one you like and take measurements.

I've only seen one, but it was the same thickness all along the blade until about the last inch. The blade was about 1/8 " thick and did not taper down it's length. It was basically flat at the top and tapered toward the sharpness.

I don't know if you've gotten the info you required but I have a bit of a collection (actually my first was the one pictured in your post lol) going and I would be happy to give you measurements if you'd like . . .just let me know :)

I'm not familiar with all the Japanese terms he uses, but this guy has a lot of measurements to share.

Here's another site with comparisons of katanas by many different makers. It looks like the dimensions you are asking for are called "Mihaba at Mune-Machi" and "Mihaba at Yokote".  The former appears to range from 28-37mm, the latter 18-30mm.
