How to make animated short clips from drawn cartoons. Answered

I am a cartoonist. I can draw still images and caricatures. I wish to make animated movies of my cartoons. Can any one help me out to give me advice which software would be the best. It would be appreciated if software is available free to downlaod and is easy to use. Thanks alot.

It's not hard, just takes a while. I would go with what jj37 said and use windows movie maker. You'll also want a lightbox to help seeing the changes in picture. Good luck.

 Don't use movie maker it'll take ages and won't play the frames fast enuf. I suggest you download monkey jam

For very short clips you might find a GIF animator easier to play with in the first instance. Then move on to something else when you're happy with your technique.

If you are looking for simplicity and are using windows I would suggest movie maker beta just scan in all the pictures place them in movie maker and adjust the amount of time the picture is displayed.
