How would i go about re-upholstering the inside of my car? Answered

What I mean is replacing the fabric on the seats, the doors, as the grey fabric in my Civic is astonishingly ugly . I would appreciate it if the solution you give is relatively cheap, as i'm 17. Thanks!

i had a friend way back when, that did this. She just used regular seat covers then bought some fabric and used spray adhesive to glue it to the doors and ceiling.

go to your walmart, or fabric store and look for upholstery fabric - stay away from the loosely woven, or thick fabrics. I would google how to remove the door panels for your car, then use rubber cement, or a strong adhesive to re-cover the door panels. don't try to just glue something to the headliner, it will not stay. There is a spray paint designed to re-color fabric, the name escapes me at the moment. Google "restore civic" for other ideas.
