I want to submerge a 2 meter tall face, what kind of material plays the nicest with Hydrographic printing? is this technique fine?

is the 2 meter thing a problem?

if I stay on step 4, is it subergible?

If the face is just the front but not a head or otherwise enclosed it might work.
How good the result will be depends on surface preparation and of course how good you can apply the paint and then submerge your object.
IMHO 2m is far too big for the beginner, you should really start with some small pieces first to get a hang of it.
Get some cheap clay pots for example and decorate them as presents to get some exercise and feeling for the process.
