I want to make cushions for the arms of a chaise lounge Answered

I have terry cloth towels and foam pieces cut to the size of the  arm rests of the deck chairs.   I would like to fasten them on to the arms with velcro.  I want to be able to take the foam out to launder the terry cloth.

Washable arm covers are a great idea! How are you planning to close the terry?

If you have problems with getting the velcro to stick to the arms, you might consider having the terry cover the arms as well as the foam and close the terry to terry with velcro. Personally, I would probably use snaps or ties of some sort (maybe lace up like a shoe on the underside) instead of velcro, because I find velcro a hassle in the washing machine. But that's just me.

There are lots of sewers here to ask for advice if you get stuck anywhere in the process. Consider documenting your process and posting an ible, so others can see how you made it.

So what's the problem? Sounds like you know what you need to do.
