If I tried to strangle a seal, would it's blood eventually become alcoholic? Answered

I read that when low on Oxygen, diving mammals switch to fermentation instead of respiration, which would make their blood alcoholic. At least, this is what I think.

If you tried to strangle a seal, it would probably either get away, injure you, or drown you before much of anything happened to the seal. Seals (adult ones, anyway) are quite large, well-equipped with sharp teeth, and don't much like being messed with.

No. It's blood would eventually become stationary, because it would die.

No, lowered oxygen does result on lactate production - it would become cheesy. L
