If it weren't for Bad luck, I'd have NO luck at all........ Answered

Now, once again (second time now) the trip to NYC has been canceled. Due to unavoidable problems with the Bus company - which tried to get more money out of us for the trip, we have had to cancel all my plans for this Sat.

I am distraught to say the least....

UPDATE:

There is a possibility of my still being able to go...we shall see....

UPDATE #2:

Confirmed ! I am able to go after all.....I will have a little less cash since the bus will be a bit more, but I am going after all...

It's a sign. You need to visit FL instead. All the old people come here =]

I just meant that touche` has the little mark over the e but otherwise is spelled correctly.

See, now aren't you even happier than before that you're going? It was a good thing =]

We better see some pictures of the two of you! (I mean You and Robot, of course)

If you're at all interested in electronics (:P), you should check out BH Photo. Their brick and mortar store is absolutely amazing. They've got a really cool anti-theft system involving conveyor belts and recycling-esque bins.

Well, when I said he'd be going with me, I meant the shirt I have :-)

BH Photo, eh? Do you know where that is located (or are you going to make me look it up at the last minute here :-)

440 9th avenue, pretty close to the empire state building (and Hell's Kitchen)

not really, relatively speaking, it is quite a hike in long city blocks from 5th Ave and 34th St(Empire State bldg) over to the west side near the Javits Convention Center. Restaurants in Hells Kitchen on 9th Avenue start from 42nd ST to the 50's. I think you could actually do the walk in google maps streetview.

Are you sure? When we went in 8th grade, I think we were walking around from the empire state building and happened upon it. Being my favorite store, I convinced everyone to go in.

Beating the crowds on the streets and going crosstown the blocks are longer. It is seems long on a hot humid day but you can always catch the crosstown bus or get a cab. It is considered a drag to get to because none of the subway lines I ride get close to it. There is also J&R; music world for the next best thing down by City Hall. B&H; megastore is great if you are into photography since it is for pros and everyone else.

Watch where you step, even the hefty fine with the pooper-scooper law is not enough to deter the determined dog-walker.

I didn't put my foot in it anywhere, although I did nearly step on a dog only a wee bit bigger then my guinea pigs (poor thing, on a leash it had to take like 20-30 steps for each one the human took)

Just because the dog is small doesn't mean he doesn't need/want exercise, too.

You don't need to feel sorry for little dogs, we don't want a paw-out, we want a paw-up.

Yeah, when Paw got older, we had to lift him up out of his chair a lot.

Well, after about 20 feet, the poor thing had taken enough steps that would equal nearly half a mile for us....

Oh cool, I will be dropped off just north of that at winter gardens or something like that. I will have to put that on my agenda of things to do if I have the time. Thanks.

BH Photo is normally closed on Saturdays. They observe the Jewish Sabbath.

And they close early on Fridays. And for the extent of every Jewish holiday. All 8 days of Hanukkah, etc.

Select as Best AnswerUndo Best Answer

so, they won't be open on Sat. the 15th?
