Is that considered high altitude camping? Is it rough terrain?

I do not know. What do you mean?

Is this a serious mountain hike on unmarked trails requiring the use of rope/crampons traversing treacherous terrain or do you just haul the 50-gallon cooler to the lake to fish?

Isn't Summit lake always really cold? I've never been there but my friend has.

That'll be fun. I used to do that all the time when I was a teen. If I did it more now, I'd not be so fat.

It'll be pretty cool, i had this nice run in with some dogs up there with their owners, they weren't calling the dogs away, so i pulled up my shirt to show this big knife holder with a 6in knife in it on my side. They were pretty quick to calling. :-)
