Instructables Search Answered

I'm sure I used to be able to search Instructables with keywords.  Now I only see a "google" search input, which seems to do a Google search across the web, not specific to Instructables.

Has something changed?  My browser (IE 8) also seems to cut off or overlap some of your web page objects, so I don't know if there is an Instructables-specific search input that has been covered up or something.

How do we search for instructables these days?

I'm running Chrome 27.0.1453.47 beta on a MacBook Pro running OS 10.8.3 and I can type in the new search box but it doesn't search when I hit return or when I click on the magnifying glass. It worked in Firefox though. The new home page eerily reminds me of Bing?!? I'm not sure what I think of that.

Could you post this as a new bug report?

Wow this site has changed, for the worse. There's no search on the home page and I've not found it yet. I used a search engine to get to this page.

I would also like to search without having to use google. I never use google for anything.

The search is the enormous "Let's Make____________" thing.

The site search tool has been google-powered for quite some time.

Even though it says "Google" in the box, it will only return results from this site.

It seemed to do otherwise for me, but I'll try again another time.

Thanks

Ah, the top two or three results on the list may be adverts - scroll down, or choose "graphical search".
